This program is designed to help the student acquire the working knowledge and skills in techniques, filler metal, and shielding gas selection. Students will learn how to develop skills using hand and power tools of the industry. Utilizing the material being covered the student will learn to perform 1F, 2F, 3F, 4F and 2G on pipe. Students will develop the ability to read welding diagrams, blueprints, develop teamwork skills, professional ethics and behaviors, time management, and wellness skills.
