How can I enroll in the school?

You must set up an appointment with our admissions representative and have a tour of the school.

 

Are there jobs available for welders and structural fitters?

Yes, jobs are available in the RGV and many other parts of the state, including Houston and West Texas. Careers in different industries such as refineries, shipyards, construction and manufacturing.

 

What will I receive at the end of the program?

You will receive a certificate of completion and an AWS certificate if you pass a welding test.
 

What do I need to wear during classes?

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needs to be worn at all times. Jeans, Steel toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses, welding gloves and welding jacket or fire retardant (FR) shirt.
